According to him, one of the sections is a portion of Romans that dates to the middle of the second century. If this is accurate, where does this put the approximate date of other books relative to it. Does it change anything? |

That link is a video of Steve Green, the president of Hobby Lobby, discussing a copy of a chapter of Romans that dates to the second century. He doesn't discuss how the copy was dated.

There is no suggestion that this is an autograph or an original copy, so this does not tell you anything about when the Epistle to the Romans was written, except that it was written before the second century and could not be a fourth century composition. The video refers you to http://explorepassages.com/ |

You must understand that there are people who do NOT accept the Presumption that the Pauline writings were composed in the 1st century before the Fall of the Temple. So far, NO texts of the Pauline writings that has been dated even by Paleography support the presumption that the Pauline writings were composed Before the Fall of the Temple. People who consider the Pauline writings were written AFTER the Fall of the Jewish Temple have been VINDICATED so far and there is little hope that the situation will change. The position that the Pauline writings were composed AFTER the Fall of the Temple and AFTER the writings of Justin Martyr is COMPLETELY intact. |

Whetheer you date the Pauline epistles to before or after the fall of the Temple, a manuscript dated to the second century will not change anything.

By the way, it isn't likely texts that call Jesus a rabbi could be from before 70CE because the term wasn't used yet. I wonder how rabbi is translated into Greek because I can only rely on the English.

The term in Greek is ῥαββί = "r'abbi" See http://concordances.org/greek/rabbi_4461.htm |
