Who does Batman kill in Dark Night Returns or post-DNR?

None of Spidey's villains compare to the Joker. None.
Nonsense. The Kingpin would turn the Joker into white paste. So, for that matter, would the original Kraven (who beat Spider-Man in their last encounter, then committed suicide).

Like I said earlier, Batman has any sort of lead time, he probably beats Spider-Man (although Spider-Man also can do preparation for opponents as well). However, Spider-Man's strength, other than his powers, is his improvisation, so it is not just powers that gives Spider-Man an advantage against Batman in a catch as catch can situation.

know he's an impressive hand to hand combatant, in awesome shape for any regular human, but he would be dealing with an unknown quantity in Spider Man.
Why would spider man be a totally unknown opponent to Batman assuming they could somehow meet. He is one of hte most famous heroes of hte marvel universe, if we can fabricate a meeting I think we can assume Batman has at least basic knowledge about Spidermans powers and such.

except that Spiderman can track people with his Spider sense, and move 100 times faster than Batman.
You are highly overestimating Spiderman's spider sense, which is not a tracking device, and I assume you are being hyperbolic on the speed.

So has Spiderman!
No he hasn't. I mean he isn't even close to being the most elite fighter in the marvel universe

Can you at least tell us HOW Batman used the JLA's (whom you seem to respect so much) strengths against themselves?

Flash vibrates at insnae speeds. He set up Flash's spianl cords to force him into relativisitc seizures. Ouch

Wonder Woman was placed in a VR simulation against an opponent who was every way shape and for equal to her

Superman's skin was turned transluscent, overloading him with power to a very gross extent.

GL was made to think he's blind--his willpower and the ring made it so.

Alright i'm sorry, but when did Spiderman's spider sense become so amazing? I'll admit I dont' follow spiderman comics, or any really. But when I was growing up I read a lot of spiderman comics and when I was reading them at least all his spider sense did was tingle when a car was about to be thrown at him and told him "danger."

His spider sense was never always accurate and it could never ever ever predict the future or tell him the exact nature of the danger.

Heh, questions like this are interesting because comic fans can draw from a plethora of examples where spiderman does some amazing feat in issue 119 or batman does an amazing feat in detective comics 456 or what have you. Since these characters have gone through numerous writers, their powers seem to be somewhat inconsistent.

That said with preparation which batman would probably have he would beat spiderman (he did woop supermans ass). But if batman turned a corner and spiderman was there and for some reason they began to fight I would probably give it to spiderman.

I think this is reasonable, assuming that he finds Batman without a vehicle and/or any special weapons.

I can't remember, but were Spidey tracers part of the comic or part of the cartoon? I distinctly remember he had tiny little transmitters that he could attach to someone. His spidey sense was tuned into that particular frequency and he could effectively track someone.

So the scenario would be Spiderman grabs Batmans ass in the shower of the local gym. They are both starkers and all their tools are in the lockers.

I'm the one who started this thread, and while I don't consider myself to be as big a nerd as most people here (though J-T-C did spark my hatred for the JLA) I am touched. I love to provoke people into a frezy. It's like making rabid dogs fight for a piece of meat.
