Yes this is lovely - I like the idea on the appearances of Jesus. In particular when he appeared to Peter and asked Peter if he loved him three times - he woke them three times in the Garden, Peter denied him three times) - it is in John 21. Peter got so excited when he saw him, he jumped right out of the boat. Peter had been so downtrodden after the death of Jesus, he and the apostles returned to fishing. The appearances are very important.

Just my thoughts.

It was a good time. I was 'underprepared', and it started off with me summarizing bits of my essay in The Empty Tomb. Soon, however, for the remaining hour and a half it consisted entirely of a lively, open discussion among about twelve people that zipped across the landscape from Jesus to Josephus to the Dead Sea Scrolls and back again. Afterwards I enjoyed lunch at a local cafe and some lighter conversation

kind thoughts,
Peter Kirby

I just received my copy of The Empty Tomb. I can't wait to read it. Congratulations on a fine showing I'm sure. I would have loved to have been there.
