If a Catholics voted with their feet then they would choose not to be left-footers or thought of as left overs.

That's a complete non sequitur.

If Catholics voted with their feet, it would mean they are leaving the church. They have failed to leave, they are staying, and therefore are not "voting with their feet."

What is it that I hear all the time, hmm... Yes, now I remember: "Love the sinner but hate the sin."

Sin and sinners. Typically 'religious'.

Had you ever spoken about crime and criminals you would have a far better perspective on everything.

Al Capone was 'catholic' and many drugs dealers and other notorious criminals are catholic.

Your pretense of 'religion' does not excuse the crime and ignorance of the law is no defence.

A Religious Criminal (ARC) is just as much of a criminal as a secular criminal.

And I will join you in the celebration as they leave The Church! Those that leave The Church because She enforces and puts into practice Her teachings were not Catholics in the first place. The modernists/liberal Catholics that try to put preassure on The Church in order to try and force Her to change are not Catholics but anti-Catholics.

In reality Philos, I am well aware that the vocational crisis will continue as the liberals start leaving The Church and as modernism continues to cover the world in a dark cloud. But we will remain as a small but faithful Church and a laity that is obedient to Her immutable teachings and to God.

Nor can I. I hope Ratzinger does his worst. That way the church will be all the more klein aber rein (or is it fein?) he wants it to be. The kleiner the better so it will be less of a force for unhappiness and injustice in the world, especially in the developing world.
