again, not that my concurrence is a sought after prize but I agree also with your conclusion. Paul, in the sense that he seeks resurrection from the dead refers to himself as a Pharisee because he is appealing to those who also attain to resurrection. he is seeking common ground in making a case. There is no reason to ruminate about whether Paul turned in his Pharisee commissary membership card. ~steve |
