Maybe Methuselah just handed it off from Adam to Noah. Noah lived to see Abram reach age 50. Presto, the Jews have it in the original Hebrew.

And you believe this?

This may sound childish but inquiring minds want to know.

I read that the theist believe this god of theirs created all this. Who was taking notes?
Sorry, there's actually an important scientific process involved here. You might want to know something, but are we at a point to deal with the question yet? It's all fine to pop out a question that takes your fancy, but how does it relate to what is knowable at the moment. The normal process is to deal with what we know first and see if that will reveal more information about our general topic. If so, it may lead to further immediate questions that have a good possibility, if not to be answered, to stimulate further enquiry.

But, who was taking notes? If you have an almighty god, s/he/it can keep notes and dictate them later, or may have invented a Thing to write them for him as they happened. I also pull rabbits out of a hat for the right price.

I thought you were.

I would really like the theists to answer my question on this point. I really don't think they are capable of looking at these anomalies. I've been a atheist for 50 of my 70 years on this earth. I can't find any evidence of any of the gods.

I heard that Adam really preferred Yahtzee to Gin Rummy - but God does not play dice...

Well I don't know if I qualify as a theist but since when are atheists looking for a God or gods?
