Jesus the man died on the cross (or pole, as is more accurate from the translation). God, not being physical, cannot die. However, it seems to have been the intention of God to experience the physical attributes of His creation by being incarnate in Jesus. With this factor in mind we may assume that God experiences all of the emotions and feelings of pain and joy that Jesus the man did, including the intense agony of dying on the cross.

Relatively speaking, the account of his death shows a quick death, compared to others crucified during that period, plus there are probably worse ways to die slowly.

I would have been more impressed with the story if Jesus the man had died over a long period of time, suffering, and then was still paying as the god part for mankind's sins, such as serving time in hell for eternity. That's more of a sacrifice to me...

If God cannot die, then God cannot experience the intense agony of dying.

However, do you think God omniscient? If so, then why the need to learn from experience? Shouldn't he already have known what it feels like to "experience the physical attributes of his creation", known "all of the emotions and feelings of pain and joy that Jesus the man did, including the intense agony of dying on the cross"?

Agreed. He tells one of the men crucified next to him that the two of them would be together in paradise that night. Ergo he didn't go to hell. Some sacrifice that is...

@Mageth
Why can't he experience it? Sure he can. He can experience the process of dieing, just not death itself. Or, more accurately, given the belief in the soul, he can die, but his soul becomes God again. If you approach the example presupposing that there is no soul then this is impossible, but then there is no God either so it's a moot point.

Did Jesus died? is he God?

If yes, then he was not the "god" depicted in the Bible.
If no, then he was not "sacrificed".

Jesus the man did die. God inhabited the the physical body of Christ, as in; incarnate, God became as man within a living physical man. God was not only within Jesus at this time because God is spiritual and not physical in nature.

Try to imagine God as living vapor, even though that is even too physical. Now, this vapor can be divided into as many parts that can be imagined and still be of a singular nature. Part of this vapor entered and dwelled in Jesus and so experienced what Jesus experienced as a mortal.
