not true. There were no catholics when the Bible was written. The Old testament was written by Jews and the new testament was written by the first Christians.

What does this have to do with the claim that if there is no god then it is a fraud and does advocate that people be servants to something. The group that created the bible also solidified the RCC as the authoritative source for all things Christian. They also set up the position of pope which is gods intermediary on earth. The doctrine of servitude was intended to mean servitude to the god intermediaries since so often the servitude is couched in terms of service in the name of god’s church on earth. Why would god need servants?

The following people had a lot of evidence that god existed :

Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, Samuel, David, Job, Jonah, Mary, Joseph, Peter, Andrew, Paul, etc.

According to your reasoning, they therefore believed in god out of self-interest. Correct?

Isn't not obeying = sinning? It seems that unless someone would be able to avoid sinning they would not be obeying, right? All sinners must fail on this account.

How far does the love thing go? Is it just platonic or is there more to this? Make your own mental imagery.

Is this a fair wrap-up of your position? All Christians must obey God to truly believe in God. Not obeying God is a sin. All Christians, by admission, are sinners. Christians do not, therefore, obey God. Christians then do not truly believe in God.

And the other side of the coin: Satan knows god but that fact has apparently not stopped him from rebelling and becoming god's main enemy, has it?
