Catholics can have communion with the saints in heaven and those paintings are just as inspired as the scriptures. The only difference is that they use paint instead of words.

Please tell me, exactly, where in the bible the "it was just a dream" a la "Dallas/who shot J.R." resides.

Nono, the bible is not interested in J.R.'s dreams. It deals with reality and nothing else. Like, I am an "inerrantist."

So where does it say it was a dream/vision?

[QUOTE=Chili]and when he became a Christian he was no longer a Jew.

<edited> There was NO Christianity that Jesus could turn to while he was alive

That is the whole message here! Christianity cannot be a religion but is a state of mind outside of religion or as the end of religion that is void of religion and therefore cannot be a place to turn to or there would be churches in the new Jerusalem.

The dream that came to Joseph in his conscious mind was the flipside of the vision that came to Mary in his subconscious mind. This alone shows that the dream of Joseph was incipent from God and not the result of some mental overload that he dreamed about.

Cool Jesus was a Jew

Jesus was born a Jew and died a Jew. He never became a Christian, which by definition, means a follower of Christ. Christ did not follow himself. He led.
