On it.

It's easy when people make sweeping statements of fact.

Tattoos are a whole different issues. Suggesting that CF staff are homophobic is nonsense.

Not unless you tell me how you want me to explain it, how it isn't clear.

Hee. No kiddin'.

Daniel Pipes is a bit trickier to dismantle, because he is very good at couching shoddy thinking in smooth language in such a way that it sounds reasonable, despite the fact that one could drive a mack truck through the holes in his logic sometimes. This article is one of the weaker ones, though. Shouldn't take too much to take it apart.

Stray, it certainly doesn't feel like nonsense when one person can make constant vile and defamatory posts towards others (ok, replace 'one person' with Kgreg) violating numerous rules over and over and not a single report I have ever made on him has amounted to even the slightest modification of his posts ... yet when I use the word ad hominem in response to him linking me with pedophilia i get edited and deleted.

And according to CaDan using the term ad hominem is not even a violation of anything.

Now, how is this not supposed to make someone feel that at least some, if not many, of the staff are gay-negative? i won't use the term homophobic but it's quite clear that many things that are gay-positive are edited or deleted while nearly anything gay-negative is allowed with no consequence.

heck, I even got nearly warned by moderators for reporting Kgreg's posts too much! It seems that requesting them to stop him from violating forum rules is .... a violation of forum rules!!

Oh, and TasMan ... no tats here I do have multiple piercings though lol.
