Is anybody with me on this one? I don't mean to derail the thread, and maybe I haven't followed WT's posts long enough to get used to what he/she says, but I'm genuinely concerned.
Actually I agree with the core truth/observation argued within the above:

That core observation is that somebody is crazy.

The only issue is who.

If my collective opponents are atheists then this makes you guys the crazy ones.

Crazy = anyone who denies the existence of reality/God/supernatural/demons and evidence for such.

Sorry for going off-topic, but I wonder where this idea comes from. The earliest reference I can think of is Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (1897). Does this belief appear in folk tales? Medieval writings? Greek myth? Is it a modern idea or does it go back aways?

Apes obviously have an important role in ToE.

Since there are only two forces claimed to be in control in the Bible this fact means the God hating demons are behind the belief that humans evolved as such and Romans 1 says God in wrath places you under their jurisdiction when you fail to credit Him AS Creator.

So it was foretold.. demonic apes shall rule the universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WillowTree, thank you very much for the initial post. I had been afraid you were a rational, psychologically healthy individual who somehow managed to hold off the wall beliefs (That God built the pyramids, that there's no evidence for evolution,). Now, seeing as you expect us to believe something yous aid with no evidence backing it up outside your claims, and call us incedibly foolish for not falling to our knees and immediately recanting our atheism, I can rest assured that such is not the case. And I'm begging you to see a counselor, even if you don't think you're delusional I'd suggest going just in case.

Oh, and people from other religions (including Voudoun witht heir Baron Samedi and such) claim they see apparitions of demons and angelic figures who correspond with their religion as well, but I guess you're not going to fall to your knees and recant your faith in Christ are you?

I agree with Willowtree. Never mess with the Demon Apes. They have flaming crap, and they'll bite your bum if they catch you, much like an angry hobo.
