Just wanted a thread to practise settings on, polls and suchlike.
Ok, so having said that how the hell do I attach a poll? |

Back when you were in the Post New Thread page, typing your blurb in the box, down below there was a checkbox for Post a Poll. Had you clicked that, after you hit Submit New Thread, a new window would have opened with places for your poll options.
Now, when I click Thread Tools on any old thread, (in the blue border just at the top of your OP) I see an option to Add a Poll to This Thread. I dunno if you as a general user get that option on your own threads after it has been established - click the menu and see. If not, you're stuck creating a new thread. But let's not go there. If everybody made a free thread or six just to play around with VB........ that's worse than ordinary postslutting. So, you get half of your wish. I'm sending this to ~E~ - but I'm very cruelly locking it, too, to discourage this type of thing. ~E~ mods might unlock it, but you'll have to plead very very nicely, and offer gifts of chocolate chip cookies. I hear they like them down there in the basement. ETA: I see you typed a lot faster than I did - but then, I had more to type. :Cheeky: |
