But the CITY of Nazareth comprises the religious make-up of Joseph who was a carpenter there, a sheep rancher with 12 shepherds on it and probably a horse trader too.

OK look, this is how it works:

- Everybody knows that Jesus was born to poor and humble beginnings in Nazareth
- they found a house in Nazareth.
- Everybody knows that poor people don't live in custom homes
- So... it follows that it must have been a tract house, although the only remaining one (see the "typical" comment in the announcement).
- Tract house == settlement

- next up: "Jesus HOA pool/clubhouse found!":Cheeky:

How can an evolved being fail to see the product of evolution?

Evolution is not a one-off bizarre event. Your own evolution continues.

That may be so but does that mean that we as freethinker are not in charge of out own destiny? . . . or are we just free to think as life takes us where it wants us to be?

How did I guess that you wouldn't see that this was a joke? I'm making fun here of all those creationists who bizarrely insist that evolution is not possible because they always say that "no one's ever seen it happen"! Basically, it's an equivalent of shutting one's eyes, sticking one's fingers in one's ears, and screaming as loudly as possible.

A number of people who post on this board seem to think so, but then if one reads the academic literature on the subject the opposite appears to be the case, that is if what professionals have to say on the subject matters at all.
