I was careful to point out that what is being relevant here is that you take a
position concerning Jesus. It's irrelevant if you label it a "non-belief". The bottom line is that you take a position, unlike those who stay agnostic concerning Jesus.
Total nonsense.

In any formal debate or discussion only two positions are generally RELEVANT, those "for" and those "against".

Consider this debate or discussion:

Person A: I believe Jesus lived.

Person B: I do not believe Jesus.

Person C: I have no idea whether Jesus lived or not, I just don't know what to believe.

Person C is irrelevant.

Aa5874, do you believe that Jesus is an historical figure or a mythical figure?

Ben.

Indeed. And it appears that you take a relevant position concerning this, otherwise you wouldn't bother discussing the issue. That is really just what people were pointing out.

He is quite willing to assert his belief elsewhere though he is, apparently, embarrassed to admit it here.

There is NOTHING for me to believe about Jesus.

I do NOT believe in GHOSTS.

But, you BELIEVE the offspring of a Ghost was crucified as stated in gMatthew, gLuke and the early christian writers.

You BELIEVE the Ghost was a real man.

Why would Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Tertullian, Origen and Eusebius lie about Jesus being the offspring of a Holy Ghost?

They all claimed JESUS was TRULY the Son of a Holy Ghost.

Why would Mary lie about her "son"?

Mary claimed Jesus was reproduced without sexual contact.

Why would "Paul" lie and say over 500 people saw this Ghost alive after this very Ghost was supposed to be "DEAD"?

Why don't you believe the early christians or even the mother of Jesus?

Mary must know that Jesus was TRULY the offspring of the HOLY GHOST.

What text do you have in mind where Mary claims this?

Ben.

No, I am asking for the text where Mary claims that Jesus was reproduced without sexual contact. There is a verse in Luke where Mary claims, at the time of the angelic announcement (which is even before the conception, let alone the birth; see 1.35), that she is still a virgin. But I do not know where she makes an explicit claim about the actual reproduction of Jesus.

You say it is in Matthew? Might I ask where?

Ben.
