There were actual physicians in the ancient world.

Candida Moss, University of Notre Dame

States that word for word.
In what document? When you cite a source, you need something more than the name.

Not the exact refference I had, but it states the same thing, from the same person.

The body of Jesus serves as an alternative health care system—free and accessible—to the expensive and ineffective physicians the woman has already visited.

PAY ATTENTION.

WHAT IS THE EXACT REFERENCE YOU HAD? GIVE THE NAME OF THE DOCUMENT, THE PAGE NUMBER, AND THE EXACT QUOTE.

This is not talking about free health care for the impoverished peasants and workers of Galilee. It is a particular instance of Jesus healing one woman.

PAY ATTENTION.

In the scripture, Jesus is a traveling healer who does not charge any fee for his work.

Therefor, he offers his own version of free health care. Backed by scripture.

For all purposes that is all the source I need, and your welcome to refute that. But you cannot.

I have also supplied a source from Proffessor Candida Moss, who states, "Jesus offered free health care" which takes care of this pesky post below

Did I ever state jesus healed all the people in Galilee?

Did I place a number on those he healed"

Did I state he only healed impoverished peasants?

Your real beef, has been met.

It is well known however, that the early Christian movement worked around the dinner table and healed for free, Jesus, Paul, and his apostles are all said to have done this. is this correct?

How convenient. Not available online.

"NGC investigates the mysterious decades following Jesus' death, and the group of 12 common men, who sacrificed everything to to spread Jesus' message."

"Investigates" ?? There is no data available from this period. What are they investigating?

Ive seen this 5-9 times trying to soak everything stated, up over the last year. Puts me to sleep at night lol.

Most of all the top scholars participate, all the usual suspects Ehrman, Meyers, Borg, Reed, Moss, and more, to all add what they think based on scripture and other historical sources such as Pliny to Josephus, as to what the apostles did.

They are very brief with the original apostles and flat state, as you, we just dont have enough to go on. They do discuss the early christian movement though. They do highlight Paul and get into a few details.

I do find much of modern scholarships do make the mistake of attributing to much historicity based on what little we have. BUT I havnt seen enough evidence either that it is whole cloth 100% fiction. So to speak.

I checked youtube and cant find a link either. If you want I can use my gopro and take a 1 minute vid of Moss making that statement. But I think you trust me on this.

Um, I think this all goes back to a handout by Dr Candida Moss to the discussion group "New Testament Studies and Disability," which includes in its bibliography a book by Hector Avalos, Healthcare and the Rise of Christianity (1999). "Here" says Moss, "Avalos offers an alternative vision of the spread of Christianity predicated on the free healthcare that it offered to the poor."

That was the result of a Google search on |"Candida Moss" "free healthcare"|.

You were barking up the wrong tree.
