I've noticed that if Turkel does "well" in a debate, the posts remain active and available for everyone to read. However, if Turkel gets embarrassed, access to the thread is restricted to forum members (and, since I'm not one, for all I know those threads get deleted).

JP (No Link) Holding has just published http://www.tektonics.org/tsr/tillpfft06.html#six in response to Farrell Till's
http://www.theskepticalreview.com/olivet/missed6.html

Anybody who compares the incoherent gibberish Holding has knocked out, with the clear prose of Till , can see why Holding does not like to link.

And Till quotes all of Holding, while Holding edits out any bit of Till's writing he cannot answer (which is a vast amount, of course)

And , naturally, Holding just plain lies.

Here is what Holding writes :
'We cited parallel passages in Ezekiel, Isaiah, Amos, etc. to show that stellar images were used regularly of governmental powers.'

Holding cited Amos 8:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day'

There is just nothing in the cite Holding gives which says that 'the sun' in Amos 8:9 refers to 'governmental powers'.

Ditto Isaiah 13:10 'The stars of heaven and their constellations
will not show their light.
The rising sun will be darkened
and the moon will not give its light.'

Where is the reference to stellar images being used of governmental powers?

Till demonstrates that Holding just does not understand the Bible, and can't even recognise a metaphor when he sees it.

The 'debate' was total slaughter - one of the most one-sided beatings I have ever seen. Holding was so annihilated and crushed that he had to resort to inventing a straw man ('Hyper') who he could answer, as he had just no answer to Till.

Lots of debates on Tweb were 'lost', and it took over a year of pressing by sceptics to get them restored. For some reason, the Christians were not overly worried that Holding debates were going missing.

I can't imagine that Turkel's response has much substance (haven't looked at it yet). Till just posted his Part 6 on the 13th and it takes up a huge amount of space. You're saying Turkel posted his response on the 15th? Two days? Unless Turkel did little else, I can't imagine that he did Till's work justice.
