It only took a gap of 18 minutes of tape to impeach Nixon. And it should only take a gap of about an hour in the response-time of Strategic Air Defense on 9/11 to impeach Bush, and rid the USA of Republican "fundamentalist Christians" in government for a hundred years. Gaps in the wrong place at the wrong time can have a hell of a lot of significance. |

There is only ONE other complete blank column in Vaticanus, and that occurs in the OLD TESTAMENT at point where a new scribe takes over after another one stops. This is NOT the case with the ending of Mark. And this makes the entire blank column at the end of Mark the ONLY suggestive blank column in Codex Vaticanus. 'counting blanks' without using your brain is like shooting blanks on a battlefield. You'll get attention, but it won't be pretty. But don't let me stop you. Take a trip to Iraq and wave a gun full of blanks around, and let me know how the experiment ends. Meanwhile, see if you can find ONE other page in Vaticanus that looks like this and post it for us: Code:

People can make false or exaggerated statements, without intention to deceive. It's only a lie if there is intent to deceive. Your link does not demonstrate any such intention, but instead, is libelous against both Erhman and the interviewer. Is the misspelling of Erhman's name as "Erhmin" in the link (Ehrmin.html) a lie too? |

I assume you are going to suggest (maybe you already have) that the original page was removed and this short ending version was inserted. Care to give that one a try? |

The coarse language and obscenity is very out-of-place and works strongly against presenting a case against Bart Ehrman's scholarship, whether or not he is directly involved.
