I am not an atheist, but I still have plenty of dislike for christian mythology and lies. I have read the bible, cover to cover, 3 times. Personally, it makes me want to vomit. I think I will stick to honoring my own divine, listening to my inner conscious and praying to the moon. It gets me just as far and I don't have hate issues.

Yep, I have read it, and many other myths and fables as well.

Yes, Faid ... This was answered long ago when Dean Anderson asked it.

Dave, are you ready to retract your bullshit-based claims about the 'reduced ages' of those mountains, and that the Grand Canyon age (as estimated by mainstream science) was reduced from 40 MYO to 1 MYO?
We can start a new thread on it if you like |

While they do mention uplifts of the Tibetan plateau between 3.4 - 1.8 Ma, the reading on the whole chapter on Tibet does not support Morris' conclusions at all, since they place the origin of the plateau much earlier. Actually, relatively recent uplifts of the plateau are not surprising, given that the Indian plate is still moving against the Eurasian plate even to this day (and raises Himalayas and Tibet). And again, uniformitarianism does predict that mountain-forming processes would continue today much like they were operating 10s of millions of years ago. And obviously, mountain ranges such as the Urals, whose plates have long since fused, would not continue to rise. I wonder where he gets the date of 1-2 Ma for the Urals. Since that book was specifically mentioned, can the autors take any action for misrepresentation? |

I'm new here. I think your posts are hilarious, pure comedy gold! Unfortunately I fall in line with most others here and laugh at you, not with you. I too have read the bible, it is a disgusting book. The fact that it is widely held to be inerrant and held in such high regard in a supposed modern civilised society is the greatest blight on mankind. I pity anyone who puts it on a pedestal as the pinnacle of morality, question the sanity of those who use it as a scientific basis for the creation of the universe and humanity and to be blunt I detest those who force it upon innocent children. I've seen your blog and it honestly makes me weep for the youth of America that we have people like you corrupting and terrorizing young minds. May science have mercy on your soul. |
