It's a bit long, but its logic is so bad that I thought about putting this in humor.

There's something for everyone here, argument from design (pay close attention to the banana. I never realized that it was designed just for the human hand.

The atheist's test: prove that he's really an agnostic because you don't know 99% of the universe. Then ask if he considers himself a good person, then ask if he has ever told a lie, basically go down the 10 commandments and asking about looking at a woman with lust, using god's name in vain, stealing. "So then you're basically a liar, adulterer, and thief. What would God do to you?"

The atheist in the video kept falling for this one. The answer is: Nothing, he doesn't exist. Or if he did exist then still nothing, he made me a liar, thief and adulterer so he's got nothing to complain about.

all in all it's pretty pathetic, but it should give us a lot to talk about. I wonder about the videos they didn't show us! The ones where the atheists give them a hard time.

You know, my friend was just telling me about this a few days ago. We had fun shredding some of the 'arguments' he remembered like the Perfectly Designed Banana. Now I'll have to check it out for myself, though it seems to be unavailable at the moment.

I seem to recall seeing somewhere that the banana was perfectly designed for something... and its not eating, and will make most fundy christians scrub their eyes out with industrial strength cleaning fluid.

using the banana argument, I expect to never see a Christian eating pineapple, coconut, or anything else that requires a bit of work to get into.

Surely if we were meant to eat meat, god would have made it allready cooked? that would be so much easier.
If god wanted to make it even easier for us, he could have simply designed us so that we don't need to eat, and can live off air, or even nothing.

Best line of the movie is when Kirk claims he was a "devout atheist". These people are so ridiculous that its amazing that anyone can believe this tripe.

Though one of the most disgusting things they do is when they try to take a quote they mined from origin of species about Darwin and the eye and try to use it as an attack on evolution. Except the fact that they fail to tell you that after making the statement that Charles Darwin actually does explain how the eye did come about through gradual changes. This stuff is just nonsense.

Having searched around apparently this attack is quite common as this Has a good refutation on this silly attack.

Gee, I wish God had taken some of that time he spent perfecting bananas and used it to perfect people.

If someone wants to say that God exists, but that evil came into the world with the fall, fine. It's not very parsimonious compared to just assuming no God, but at least it has some explanatory power and addresses the data. But when someone tries to deny that the world is shitty, it really does piss me off. Just because you aren't an AIDS baby doesn't mean the world is peachy.

Ray Comfort has had his face rubbed in shit with his stupid soda can and banana arguments over and over and over in a wide variety of forums. Even Ron Barrier (of American Atheists) who is a HORRIBLE, inept and impotent debater and voice for atheism just kicked Comfort's ass in a debate when he (Comfort) tried this argument.

Comfort and Cameron both know that these idiot arguments only work with people who don't know they are full of shit.
