But it does not. So the concept is considered irrelevant to science.
I'd love to believe you, honestly. And I mean that quote sincerely.

You tell me how the age of the Earth or the Universe, or the status quo at Planck time + 1 after the Big Bang has any practical use anywhere at all, let alone a lab, and I will become a scientist. Failing a practical use, they will remain metaphysical bullshit claims.

In other words, don't use the word science to denote something authorative. Because that just invites bashing. And I like gays, they're good shopppers.

Dave, my company will throw $$$ at you if you can come up with some supernatural motors and the devices to control them...

Got anything ready to patent?

Well, isn't that what replicators are supposed to be? Aren't they like, you know, perpetual mobiles?

I found it difficult to believe anyone had posted this, other than as some kind of a joke.

Then I realised who the poster was.

I came in late on this thread. Sorry. What is the definitive answer I should be aware of?

As far as matter goes, I'm a supernaturalist. There is no natural explanation for why matter exists. But maybe one will be found. I doubt it.

As far as human origins though. I'm a pure naturalist. Evolution works with what is available, using the properties of what is available. It does not create something. It rerarranges somethings that already exist.
