Catholics are not Christians and that includes popes except when they speak ex cathedra which is the purpose of that proclamation. It just means that the mind of Christ is infallible = Christian. Catholicism ends when the Gospels begin so we do not owe anything there. Indulgences are good because they work. I've compared them with the mandate of the Chamber of Commerce except in the other direction. Slavery is native to our human condition wherein we live beside ourself. It is a tradition based religion with only sporadic references to the bible to makes the Lazarus parable a reality. The Immaculate Conception is what makes the mind of Christ immaculate among Catholics. Nice to have that freedom as Freeman = Christian. The Latin Mass points us at the image of the icon without being distracted by the common meaning of words. It is just anti-literalism at work. |

Johnny, from the previous post it may be concluded that each and every Christian in the manner of Jesus has the mind of Christ and is free from the bondage of slavery and sin. Gal.5:1-5 tells us about this wherefore it is a contradiction to call yourself a Christian and actually go to church. Hence my notion that the Catholic Church ends where the gospels begin which for you became the beginning of serious religion in your life.
So yes, I can see why you are angry at any church. |
