This board has a tendency to interpret Scripture literally and in sequence. That is like "drinking milk". Death and dead people in Scripture are those that do not agree with the author (the 185,000 dead Assyrians according to Isaiah). When you realize that Jesus gave up the spiritual ghost and did not rigor mor on the cross then you can realize that he became born-again years later when Saul turned him into a pukah (Harvey the rabbit/James Stewart). When you understand the political jargon then you are "eating meat".

I see you think you've got the right to interpret the bible as you see fit when you think we shouldn't -- well aren't WE special. What gives you the right to say what in the bible is and isn't real and nobody else? And if the bible is not to be interpreted literally, what makes your intepretation the right one as opposed to the literally thousands of others out there? Aside from the "all people who disagree with me are ignorant by definition" power trip, why is your interpretation right?

My interpretation and my perceptions are honest. If you put your tooth under the pillow the tooth fairy will give you a dime, If you are a good boy/girl Santa will leave you a present under the tree. Is that what you want to hear?
