The author of this website argues from a Buddhist perspective against both the theory of evolution and biblical creationism. Although his “Sensory Becoming? concept appears to be largely a philosophical diatribe against determinism, he does chide evolutionary scientists for not finding any flaws in his line of argumentation. Regarding the impact of his website, he boasts:
“A total silence has descended in the "Darwinian front" since its initial launching. In fact I am surprised at the number of visitors to this site. It is presumed that some of them are followers of Darwinism. Then how should we interpret thier [sic] silence? They did not dilly dally when the creationist proposed their blind “God’s? creation concepts. it [sic] was naturally roundly ridiculed.? “Indeed I am ecstatic that no one has challenged the Sensory Becoming concept to this day. In fact with their silence, Darwinians may be under the illusion that their problems will soon dissipate like the early morning dew? I am afraid they are in for a surprise. For with each passing day the world at large will begin to guess that Becoming is a fact of life.? Although I did not read the entire article, what I did read gives the impression that the author is laboring under the misconception that all evolutionary changes are progressive in nature and that humans possess the most highly developed sensory organs of any organism. Those looking for a diversion from the usual ID and creationist confrontations may want to break the silence for Mr. Weerasinghe. |

Yeah. Maybe this person would be taken more seriously if they hired an actual Webdesigner. A religious profiteer. Remarkable though since this one is selling to bhuddists.

Perhaps "Darwinists" have been silent because the web page and "theories" *cough* baseless assertions *cough* it contains are so obviously ridiculous as to not merit more than a minute of thought?

I have bookmarked that goofy site, just to have it handy as an example of why the creationism/evolution dichotomy that creationists often favour is false.

I alerted Mr. Weerasinghe to the discussion of his website that was occurring on this forum. His response is contained in the enclosure. For some reason he got the impression that I was trying to get him to respond to the critiques of his material by answering them on my website.
Enjoy. |
