Not always. Stupidity cannot always be dealt with by nice words.

I don't agree with Dawkins on that point. I guess AdamWho also.

The options are
1- Truth
2- Mistake
3- Lie
I would not assume (3) is the case, before considering (2).

Likewise, religionists and anti-Christians are mistaken in their understanding of Christ.

The "RED CROSS" do NOT surrender. They can ONLY help the wounded.

PERHAPS CHRISTIANS would all be dead if rational people did NOT rescue them.

Interesting link with some revisionist historical ideas. It doesn't actually say that the Buddha never existed, it is reinterpreting the timeline and the location of events connected to the Buddha. In fact, I found this quote in the article:

Quote:
A sect has a founder, Buddhism like every other. I do not pretend to demonstrate that Sakyamuni never existed.

You've taken up arms for one side, the side that declares Christ is god.

Thus, to the end of days, all rational men will bow low before this Jesus of Nazareth; and the more self-knowledge they have, the more humbly they will acknowledge the superabundant glory of this great manifestation.--Fichte

Try this:
No Buddha made the Buddhists—the Buddhists made the Buddha.--"The Buddha Myth". Chapter 13 in Pagan Christs / John M. Robertson.

No, I am saying that his opinion is his opinion.
So, everybody has an opinion for instance here is someone who claims Jesus is satan

My opinion, which is pretty well supported is that "There is about 1000x more evidence that Buddha existed than Jesus"
