I have rarely heard the expression "God bless you" after a sneeze. It is almost always "bless you"---and sounds pretty much like "bleshu". And phonetically sounds a little like a sneeze itself. --- (which is why I think it is used so much--it just seems appropriate)-----

Do you also take offense at that one and tell people not to subject you to their primitive superstitions? If you did, most people would say WAAHH??
