Could we reconstruct the historical Santa if the earliest information we had was 'The Night Before Christmas'?
Why is no-one attempting to reconstruct the historical Romulus? |

Good scholarship is sometimes born not from a desire to fill in the gaps, but from the realization that Jesus was a mythical figure created by wild imaginations.
Preachers every Sunday fill in the gaps with their speculative sermons. "I believe Jesus will do this, and I believe Jesus will do that, and more" is all they have to offer. Just throw caution to the wind and believe. And their belief system built on heresay, and a hope that it will offer reward in a new physical body after death. A feeding frenzy[speculation] on the corpse of Jesus is not a healthy diet, nor is it a pretty sight to behold. |
