And have you read the contents of all of the posts that have appeared in these forums pertaining to him, and to each of the positions he espouses, and to the statements he has made, and each of the subjects he was discussing on that page which you cut and pasted?
Rather obviously not. |

I dont understand that, if you think that Jesus was never in existence why wouldn't try to argue that against someone?

The truth of Christianity does not depend on whether or not Jesus existed.

I dont care if any of you are interested in debating theists. But its things like the Christ myth theory which is what makes us atheists look ignorant.

One can hold a differing opinion from the scholarly mainstream, as long as there is evidence and it is logically thought through, and not be ignorant. |

That's what the stories tell us the vast majority of the people around Jesus did. Did they do right in accepting the opinions of their leaders and so-called "experts'? In the stories they crucified Jesus. Should we base our beliefs on what the experts suggest and the majority decide is best? Or should we work it out for ourselves? The vast majority of humans just can't be bothered working much out for themselves and go along with the majority rabble. Almost, well actually all, of the christians (and non-christians) that I know don't spend 5 secs a day researching christianity and, in the case of christians, the foundations of their faith - they cannot be bothered. They suck! |
