I'm glad you're here, TW. I never tire of reading your posts.

When I said 'tired of it' I meant both here and CF. I cut back to these two websites a while back. Makes everything less complicated.

Oh, that's the thing. The temptation to make up spurious citations that start out sounding legitimate and which will, of course, not be checked, and then slowly to make the citations more and more questionable over the course of the thread, until eventually they become so outrageous that it's obvious what's wrong with saying "Any viewpoint is legitimate as long as it isn't actually yours, arrived at by your own observation and reasoning, but is the result of your taking someone else's observation and reasoning as authoritative" ... is ... very large.

It'd be a lot of work to do it right, of course, but ... :devil3:

Just always cite to "To Set Our Hopes On Christ" by the ECUSA. It has everything you need--plus it's a great big PDF.

Good idea. Link?

Maybe we should make a thread of just links for each of the Rool 4.2 topics.

How about it ~E~ mods? Could you split this off into a new topic for CF Rool 4.2 links?

She's threatening warnings over it, which is silly. You shouldn't be banned for not having your conversations with friends sufficiently documented.

Well, now that I have copied rigorist so well, I ought to actually get around to reading it.

The problem probably is that CF doesn't want to say that the websites of ex-gay organizations aren't valid citations, so the standard has to be set low enough that any of them can get in.

Yeah, I'm a little behind. The New IIDB/CF Thread is going to appear here sometime in the next half hour or so (of course, the link won't work until then). Sorry for the delay, and for the complications of moving, as usual.
