OK, that's 3 posters in this thread this afternoon (Tas, LS and Kass) who say they're giving up because of a universal witch-hunting conspiracy.

I think inroads have been made and still can be, but we tend to give up too soon and to be too pessimistic. I know I gave up too soon on one mod, and I'm working really hard to make things better now. It's going to be tough, but I'm not giving up. I've asked for help, and hope I get it.

No, I'm giving up because I know I won't get a fair hearing. I'm giving up because the same exact thing happened to Mech Bliss far later than what happened to me, witch hunting someone some mod doesn't like. I'm giving up because one of my late appeals was denied by Miz Doulos and Erwin (who, supposedly, is the next step after her) has said he doesn't do anything with moderating the board. Who the hell can I appeal to next, God? I doubt any "God" who talks to the staff who've been denying my appeals will care that I'm being treated unfairly, and I doubt the staff will listen to any real God, who demands justice and mercy to those they've been deliberately hurting and excluding.

You want me to appeal, CL? You want me to take a chance on CF ripping my heart out of my chest again and stomping on it? Show me they've changed. Show me they're more interested in people than dogma. Show me they take the commands of Jesus to love others more seriously than "But your interpretation of Rev. 4:20 differs from mine!"

I dare you to. CF staff who read this thread, I dare you to be fair. Show me you can be fair and loving and kind to someone who violently disagrees with almost all of your theology. Go ahead. Show me the love of God.

(Kimber and other decent staff excluded; void where prohibited; no guarantees of increased value on appraisal)
