So that would be the same Herod II, otherwise known as Herod Antipas, who reigned from 4 BC to 39 AD?

It would have to be, because Pontius Pilate was Governor of Judaea from 26-36 AD.

This tells us that the Roman emperor at the time was Tiberius who reigned from 14 AD to 37 AD.

Caligula reigned from 37 AD and lasted a few years, to be replaced by Claudius.

No he didn't. You can't ignore the decrees of someone who wasn't born until at least fifteen years after you died. Herod the Great died in 4 BC. Caligula wasn't born until 12 AD.
Herod ignored Caligula's decree - wisely. That is why the great war occured later in 70 CE, when Nero resurrected this decree again. This shows that the Jews would have not gone to war on taxes alone [even when their tax rate was greater than for others], even when Rome appointed foreigners like Herod to rule Judea, but they would have gone to war and sacrificed their nation in defense of their belief. The Jews put up the greatest defense for their belief than any peoples in Geo-History.

The criminals were the depraved Romans, and those who continued their crimes in Europe with the decree of heresy.

The poor and slave castes were crucified. Did you think Jesus was the only person who was crucified? Spartacus was crucified.
Briton and a host of other nations and peoples were crucified and burnt en mass. Rome is correctly vanquished from humanity, like a host of other evil nations.

No. That is a totally bad question.

Now, if there were some people who were going against you, and there were others who did not like you but did not as of yet have the strength or will to go against you, what would you do?

You would squelch the rebellion as to make an example.

Now, what to do with the populace? Take into account it's ancient Rome.

Obviously you sell many as slaves to get money for the war you just fought. After their slaves, they don't need their land rights or belongings any more, and since all Roman Legionaries were to be given land for serving, well, you've got more land.

Now what do you do with the criminals who opposed you? Well, since they're criminals, there's one thing to do, you put them in a triumph for your victory. You show the people of Rome a good time of what they want, blood sports. People trying to fight Lions, gladiators, mock naval battles, et cetera.

That's what they did. That was Roman life.

Honestly, what do you think Julius Caesar did with the Gauls?
Here, the majestic Hebrew laws kick in for humanity. Rome lost here to the Hebrew laws: check your own judiciary.

The name was JUDEA, not Palestine. This land always was and is today a strateigic location, being in the centre of Arabia, and of three continents - namely Africa, Europe and Asia. Ancient legend has it this is the centre of the earth's landmass [depicted today by aeriel topography], and the centre or beginning point of the universe.

Arabs believe Arabia is the center of the Universe too. Palestine is on the African rift valley, that stretches from the middle of Africa.

The Christians held Jerusalem for 88 years I think (1099-1187). I wonder if the true owners will surpass that record, probably depends on if we start counting at 1948 or some later date.

You've stated here many times in the past that Christianity had no history in Palestine... yet here you discuss Christian Jews and the extraordinary step of the Jews putting an anti-Christian prayer into the Amida, at a shockingly early date.

I think you are close to correct here, but how do we reconcile this view into your previous statements? Previously, you must have been young and impetuous.

There can be little doubt that we will eventually defeat the Arabs as decisively as Bar Kochba dispatched the Romans. The only requirement is that we all faithfully follow our messianic leaders.

Judea and Israel is not in Africa, but Asia Minor. Palestine & Jordan are recent and ficticious, non-historical names manufactured with an agenda.

I wish the problems can be solved without defeating anyone. But this would require both christianity and islam not to attach the negation of the Jews as their only path to salvation. Unfortunately, this is not the case, and that the small nation of Israel even survives today is a miracle of miracles.

He didn't say they were and you'd know that if you had the background to understand his post.

Premjan's talking about a "divergent plate boundary," or rift zone that extends from Mozambique in East Africa through Tanzania and Kenya, and meets Red Sea Rift at the Afar Depression Triple Junction. The Red Sea Rift meets the Dead Sea Transform Fault south of the Sinai peninsula and that fault system then proceeds north through the the Gulf of Aqaba, the Wadi Arabah, the Dead Sea, the Sea of Galilee, the Jordan Valley and on to the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon.

Technically Palestine & Jordan are on either side of the Dead Sea Transform which is structurally related to and intersects with the East African Rift and many people today casually refer to the whole system as "The Great Rift" or simply "The East Africa Rift."

BTW, still waiting for those historical references Joe.

Too much input. You understand the problem of the bottleneck. This brain can only handle so many concepts per hour (cph). :Cheeky:

I see. My apologies.

The issue of concubines with laughing Roman Generals at crucifixions, and the slaughtering of the families before the men on crosses - is found in the Josephus documents. Its not something anyone can make up. I can find this for you, but it is a copious book, and I am assuming you have not read this work - I have. I am also confused why you would question this - it is typical of the Roman butchery and their sub-human sports at circus amusements.

Re Titus, Berenice and Vaspasian. This is found on most histrical links. Titus met Berenice via his father, while she was also in an incestous affair with her brother. Titus even assassinated an innocent man because he suspected that man had eyes for his obsessed woman. Vespasian moved from Berenice knowing his son was an uncontrollable maniac.
