National papers said guards and court officials were amazed at the "miracle".
It is just me, or has the quality of miracles gone seriously down hill since Biblical times?

Yes, philosopher David Hume noted the same thing about 250 years ago -- where have all the "big" miracles gone?

I've seen lots of excuses, but no reasonable explanation. Like why does the Virgin Mary always appear in out-of-the-way places, like Fatima in Portugal or Medjugorje in Bosnia-Herzegovina, but never in some big, well-televised event, like the American-football Super Bowl or the soccer World Cup? And why does she insist that some of her revelations be kept secret? If she really has some Big Message to give to us, then she can give it to everybody in person.

And some of the excuses are incredibly whiny, like "Some people will still be skeptical". Well then, boo hoo hoo hoo hoo. Nobody's ever accomplished anything by running off and hiding and whining about how skeptical some people will be about those accomplishments.
