I think he is hoping to make a change.

Anyway, perhaps we could step back from previous hurts and use this situation to the best advantage for all. I was talking to Steve yesterday about the fact that he should reconsider his position on the division between CO and non-CO areas. The less restraint on speech in general the less there will be in the areas he cares about. He actually was somewhat receptive to that, having participated in other forums where everyone was all in together. You can have some good debates that way.

As I mentioned before, we are in danger of squandering this opportunity to unite all the parties together on the speech issue, with the potential for some real changes if Erwin could catch the vision of it.

I see it in quite the opposite way, especially for non-theists. I respect them mucho, because when non-theists do good things for society, they don't do them out of fear of Hell or because God commands them to. Instead, they do it out of genuine kindness.

On the E&M board of CF, we've actually had people admit that they "love" gays/atheists/non-Christians because they are "commanded" to by God. As if scripted, as I'm typing this, there's a commercial on the tele in which this dude says, "That kid needs a kick in the pants!" And ya know what? I agree.

Well, the Wicked Witch of N&CETM believes that only Conservative Christians go protest against the war or against any injustices in the US. Liberal Christains are of teh devil and anything they do is evil!

Gods, sometimes I so despise that heartless woman!

LAWL, no, I'm not posting, mostly because I got banned again about a week after I won my appeal. So yeah, I'm on lurk/giggle in archives status as well. I really miss some of the CF cats, but I'm in touch with most of CF luvz0rs via IM/IIDB/RF/TOL/real life (well, one of them).

ChaliceThunder just up-and-left randomly though, which makes me oh so very sad.
I didn't know you were gonna be a nurse! Me too. Going for my BSN after I graduate next year.

Hahahaha...ditto to basically everything you said. That's part of the reason I left the church...I don't like pity kindness, and it was obvious that was all I was getting. You can tell the difference yknow? When people are nice to you cause they want to be and nice to you because they're supposed to be.

I think "LovesTruth" is a man.

And I can't freaking stand people who use molested children to further a political agenda. They make me wanna vomit out of every orifice. No lie.

Sounds harsh, but I feel justified in saying that.

Oh right! She was gonna be my next guess, actually. That one irritates me to no end, but she's rather easy to pin to the wall with "arguments" like the ones she produces.

Thanks for the gold star! *prances around living room*

Do you have any suggestions for getting some kind of response from him other than 2+2=6?
