Default Evil Girl Scout cookies??

I rarely come to this forum, and I almost thought about putting this in humor - but it's too damn depressing to go there.
Boycott abortionist cookies??

Bizarre, thinks I.

Well, the Girl Scouts are wholly unaffilated with the Boy Scouts.

The Fundies run the BS. Now they want the GS. Face it, they want it all.

I'd like to buy special boxes of Thin Mints and shove them right up their Samoas! How dare they say such things to children? Isn't that why they're upset about the Planned Parenthood thing? Because they talk about abortion? Grrr.

Default yum-yum-eat-em-up!

I discovered caramel delites the other day. Positively addictive! Keep me away from them!

Yahzi-
'The Fundies run the BS. Now they want the GS. Face it, they want it all.'

Don't forget they also want to put God in the oval office. Maybe Jawgee Boy will be crucified, an American Messiah perhaps?

Quick quote from John Stewart Mill, from The Westminster Gazzette '...Sir, I did not mean to say Conservatives are stupid; I meant to say, most stupid people become Conservative'.

Which University was it that elected a pig as the president of the student union, to make a point as it were?

But back to Waco. 'This is your local reporter speaking from...the chocolate chip cookie'.

On the positive side it appears from the article that cookie sales are up in Waco. Maybe the citizenry isn't all "wacko".

Now about that case of Thin Mints. . .

From the article...

Quote:
There have been only a few secondhand reports about adults turning down cookies because "the Girl Scouts support abortion," said Beth Vivio, executive director of the Bluebonnet Council of Girl Scouts. The comments reportedly were made to scouts, who are between 6 and 18 years old.
...and probably made those girls freethinkers for life...

Quote:
Vivio said the Girl Scouts expect to sell more than the average 432,000 boxes of cookies during the sale, which runs through February. And the Girl Scouts office has seen more calls and drop-in visitors requesting cookies
Quote:
A flurry of letters to the editor of the Waco Tribune-Herald seems to support her assessment: The pro-cookie writers outnumber the writers who favor Pro-Life Waco's campaign.
In The United States one does not attack Mom, Apple Pie or Girl Scouts and their cookies.
