Since handicapped people are not allowed near the Altar of the Lord (Leviticus 21:17-23), and since religion is a crutch, that obviously means that no religious people are allowed near the Altar of the Lord.
I guess they have to get atheists to stack the wood for the Altar fires. |

No no no, ShadowF0x, you're supposed to say:
"I like my Christians medium-rare with a little A-1 sauce." (Unfortunately, when you do, you'll get one of two responses: (1) "The enemies of Christ are persecuting us, just like the ancient Romans who threw us to the lions!"; or (2) "You're the one who's going to be medium-rare, for all eternity!") |

I bet there's more Popes in Hell than in Heaven. I bet there's more Popes in hell than atheists. See, I can be reasonable. |

Hey, with all the auto-da-fe barbecuing Christians did of atheists, witches, scientists, scholars, dissident theologians and other assorted scumbags throughout history, we can make those kinds of cracks. We don't have a record following through on them.

Hey, I thought we agreed that we wouldn't say "christians" when we really mean "Roman Catholics". To date American Episcopalians have never sent anyone to the stake. We should do to a few of our own, but certainly not anyone outside our miniscule sphere of influence!

Sorry, maybe I'm exposing myself as a newb, but I don't remember that particular agreement. I was American Episcopalian, and I clearly remember declaring a belief in one holy catholic and apostolic church every Sunday. Now, I realize the Nicene means "catholic" in the sense of "universal," but until a church comes along and says, "I believe in one catholic and apostolic church except for the RC's who were crazed murderers with whom I do not wish to be identified..." yeah, I'm going to arbitrarily lump. Feel free to be annoyed with me; you'll be in good company. ![]() |

And the folks in Salem were most likely Puritains. They hated the Anglicans, remember? Hell, neither the Romans, the Orthodox, a lot of Protestants and even a large section of the worldwide Anglican community are even talking to us now because of this whole gay bishop thing. I say screw 'em, but that's not very nice, is it! ![]() |
