Firstly, for all who don't know, a 'rude boy' is a youth who goes round London with a crow bar/baseball bat and wears entirelly nike. They are very into the hip-hop gangster seen.

Well, I was at a christian camp (don't ask) and firstly i thought it was hilarious when 2 huge rude boys were having a massive fight and the rest of them were round chanting 'mirk him in the eye blood' and so on. And then two completely out of place small white christians went in the middle. Needless to say they were chassed half way through the camp :rolling:

Shortly after, a sort of watered down gang warfare happened whilst me and a few m8s were having a rap-off (2 ppl insult each other as much as poss in raps, and the guy wiv better style wins) wiv a group of rude boys. The other gang started throwing eggs and then running (worst insult to rude boys is 2 get their perfectly shiny cloaths dirty), and they hit one of my friends in the shoe. So this guy comes up to me and says ' u see who did that? ill dus (steal) their creps (shoes) 4 u bread.' I replied in a jokey manner 'thats not very christian of u', and he said 'sure it is, wen u run out uf cheeks, u smack him.' :devil3:

Well we get 'rudeboys' all over the place here. They believe they are big time 'gangstas' who 'run the joint'. Pretty pathetic when you know that half of them have come from poncy middle-class families. 'Da ghetto' is what these kids aspire to these days.

Yes it is sad, and I don't talk like them usually. Somehow being linguistically deprived and expressing ones self with a baseball bat is seen as cool??? Having said that, one of my friends lives in an area charecterised by this where people take out a new mortgatge to buy some nice new shiny nike trainers, and yet he had grasped the basics of quantom phyics and string theory by the age of 15. This hip-hop lifestyle is forced on the next generation by peer-preasure, and whilst externaly the lingo is sustained, you get more of the half-hearted agression now where the fist is replaced by words.
