WHY do the idiots go on doing this? Do they think everyone is as uneducated and stupid as themselves? And now I suppose when a homeowner kicks them out there will be cries of Hindu persecution of innocent minorities. |

God how sickening. But in the end this will bite them. Something so easily proved false, and obviously in bad faith, and directed at a community that is not friendly to christain conversion in the first place, will lead to a negative effect for the proselytizers.
At least one can hope. On the other hand I'm continuously shocked at people credulity for easily debunked and obviously wrong ideas. I mean people try to rewrite whole portions of history and somehow get converts (holocaust deniers come to mind) or others are actually silly enough to become members of the flat earth society. Actually now that I think about it, the fact that most of humanity can be so illogical as to believe in god, makes me wonder if maybe this tactic will work. In any case, it's very distasteful, but true to form. |

Christians can be awful sneaky bastards, can't they?
They say "Alls fair in love and war". Really should add religion to that. |

Actually the missionaries have been trying to say for the last 100 years that Christ is the fulfilment of Hinduism. Since that is not working, I suppose they have taken to rewriting scriptures. (sigh!)
But this is really stupid. More people are educated nowadays, educated enough to know that the translations are all wrong. And the missionaries wonder why they are not liked. :banghead: |

Hinduwoman, this seems like a very old tactic. Simply read where Paul describes himself as having made himself all things to all people: 1 Corinthians 9:19-23. And read in Acts 17 where Paul claims that some "Unknown God" as really the Xtian God.
I wonder when such evangelists are going to start bragging about how the Bible described evolution in detail long before the publication of Charles Darwin's magnum opus. |

There is at the moment a huge effort by the US religious sects to penetrate Asia. This counts for India, China, the Phil.
It is worrying. Even the Phil domestic helpers here in Hong Kong are their target. We have Jehovah's witnesses, Mormons, S. Baptists, Methodists etc. In India however, this will eventually lead to violence. It was not enought to have an explosive mixture of Hindus and Moslims, now we are trying to increase the numbers of the thusfar insignificant xian segment. Well, the missionaries all have hopes of becoming martyrs. Lets look forward. |
