You've got to be kidding me! What are the gospels but reported observation?

Do you mean a divinely inspired writer who assigns a miraculous event to god is mistaken?

Just exactly what are you saying. Did the sun stand still at Joshua's command or didn't it?

Please explain.

It appeared to Joshua that the sun was standing still. Anyway, congratulations, you have successfully derailed the thread. Looks like Saeed is not going to answer the orignal question, and instead, it's all about me answering questions. I had a very specific reason for asking what I did and in your zest to see me be wrong, you blundered all over it. Thanks.

John, this also raises an interesting question. We can talk about the Bible and trash it all over the place here. Many threads give us that opportunity. But here, we were talking about the Quran. And yet you insist on bringing the bible into this and ignoring the Quran. Think about why you did that. I think one reason is because it was me who started the thread. Can't think of any other reason why. I say there's a rotten spot on an apple and you want to talk about a rotten spot on my orange. I can't help but think there is somewhat of a personal aspect to this, although I'm sure you'll tell yourself otherwise because you don't even realize it.
