Sometime on these boards, someone posted a link to an experimental "haunted house" that used the low frequency sounds, electromagneticism, etc. Anyone remember it?

Howstuffworks is the only site I stumbled across thus far. I'm going to go on over and see what I can find.
Not off the top of my head. I did a search through the archives of some of the better-known science journals (such as Science and Nature), as well as some physics journals, and found no mention of the "Hutchison Effect." You'd think that if somebody had disproved the Second Law of Thermodynamics, all the major science journals would have been publishing extensively on the subject.

The only mention I could find of the "Hutchison Effect" in any science journal or science-related BB were dismissals pointing out that no one else had been able to duplicate Hutchison's claims.

Yeah, that's pretty much my point. Something that reflects or emits photons is going to be detectable by other means.
