Uhh, the black kid was Walt.

"the black kid"

You've lost the right to call yourself a Lost fan.:Cheeky:

Though you could be right in that he has something to do with Jacob. Perhaps Jacob is working through him?

Whose coffin do you guys think it was? Ben? Locke? Michael?

Edit: That was one hell of an episode. Mad props to Matthew Fox.

Haha, well I have only been watching Lost since I've come home for summer break (i.e., I've only seen 5 or 6 episodes). My Dad has the seasons 1 & 2 DVD collections though, so I'll definately catch myself up on nearly ALL of the episodes this summer (excluding season 3).

Okay, so Ben didn't die. But he did get his ass kicked.

Best episode ever.

Long break ahead. I take back everything bad I ever said about the show.

Awesome!!

I'm betting Ben was the one in the coffin. Either him or Locke.

I was thinking exactly the same thing, though my money's more on Locke (since Jack had known him better). I think Jack's determination to get everyone off the island was a serious error, and I find it interesting that both Ben and Locke wanted to keep everyone on the island.

Perhaps it was a double funeral?

So, an hour and forty-five minutes of sheer kick-assery, probably the best LOST all season ... and 15 minutes of slightly confusing WTF re-ordering of the status quo. Wow, someone was taking notes during the S2 finale of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!

I really liked most of this episode. I mean, they actually let things happen, and killed Charlie, and Hurley saved the day ... but when it came down to it, they just won't tell us what the fuck is going on will they? And I guess that's where the last 15 minutes were slightly frustrating. Okay, we flashed forward. But we KNOW the series will pick up back on the island next year. It has to; there's too much plot yet to tell, what with the "Not Penny's Boat" and all. I dunno. I'm taking a wait and see approach.

I thought that was a freaking incredible episode. When Hurley saved the day, my fiancee and I were actually cheering loud enough for the neighbours to hear - and I'm not one to react so strongly to a mere television show. What a great moment for that character and the series.

I'm psyched by the twist at the end, too. This is going to open up a whole new level of depth to the show.

Probably not until at or near the end, but then that's how good mysteries tend to unfold, isn't it?

The REALLY interesting question to me is, can Jack and Kate really go back? If they can, it must mean both back to the island and back in time, right?
