yeah but do you have a source such as a link or a book?

Zoroastrianism represents a reformation of Indo-Iranian religion. Before Zoroastrianism, the Iranics basically had their own version of Hinduism in which they worshipped Devas.

Vedic religion is closer to proto-Indo-Iranian religion and hence one would assume its language is the closest and oldest. Not to mention that the Aryan gods that were worshipped in Syria in 2000BC by the Mittani aristocracy were of Indo-Aryan/Sanskrit nature and not Avestan.

Since Iranians invented the word 'Hindu' I think one could not claim that Iranians practiced Hinduism before Zoroaster.

Nope, try a search on Dastur Dhalla and see what you come up with.

Zarathustran thinking definitely got to the West - and led to a crusade that is documented in a current fiction book - Labyrinth.

I wonder if Zarathustran thinking introduced the idea of one god to Judaism.
