Interesting you should mention that. Welcome to Multiple Designers Theory.
Didn't take me quite as long to say it however. Succinct. Always succinct.

Education In the Dutch Nation, like in most Western countries, there is a strict separation between Church and State. Evolutionary theory is a normal part of the biology-curriculum of secondary school (age 12-15/18) and required for the final examination. There was quite a riot a few years ago when a group of Christian parties in the parliament managed to have evolutionary theory removed from the final examination of secondary school. The members of parliament, unaware of the theory's importance, had just let this legislation pass through. After heavy protests from the biologists' union NIBI and the Dutch science academy KNAW, this decision was fortunately reversed.
Creationism in Europe (an incomplete overview)

If I remember correctly it was somewhere in 1999 but I'm not quite sure. But it could have earlier when the laws for the 2nd phase( reform of secundary schools in Holland) were passed.

Anyway you got to keep watching'm 'coz they will keep trying, even in Holland.

We should allow the legislation to pass, but then have Oolon teach the course. I would give $100 to see those kids walking out and saying "boy that god sure was an idiot"
