In that case, you didn't answer my question. Here, let me post it again with a few corrections:

Before you affiliated yourself with any religion or set of religious beliefs, did you investigate each and every religion with a keen and critical eye, taking into account any and all evidence for and against each particular one, including contradictions, logical impossibilities, absurdities, etc.?

Sorry if I haven't been entirely clear with this question; it's been a long time since I've seriously debated someone regarding religion and I'm still a bit rusty.

1) I don't believe that a Christ exists. I'm not even convinced a non-divine Jesus existed.

2) I'm not an intellectual hedonist. I don't try to believe something simply because I hope it will make me feel good.

3) I have a worldview already; I'm not in the market for a different one.
