LET'S MAKE A DEAL, GOD!
"He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." 1 John 4:8 You say you are almighty, magnanimous and infinite. You say you are eternal, all-caring and all-loving... Let's make a deal, then: Let me shut my eyes and ears, let me suspend my intelligence, and let's assume you are real... And you listen to this: For every suffering in the world (for every child's unanswered prayer, for every mother's painful torment, for every father's gut-wrenching sigh - for every human misery and agony,) we will subtract a tiny bit from your loving-kindness; we will subtract a nanogram from your alleged infinity; we will subtract a nanosecond from your supposed eternity... And if there is anything of you left (anything, anything, anything!...) at the end of this tragic exercise, I'll accept you as my worthy god... Yes, let's make a deal, god!... NOTE: The above poem is excerpted from YOU...BASTARD! - CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD, which is described by one commentator as "The Bible of the Atheists." andreasc, you have made 5 posts in the last day. THREE of them have been this poem, and ALL of them boil down to little more than advertisements for your listed homepage. Solicitation of any kind is NOT allowed at the IIDB, and your actions are trading dangerously close to spam. Find something more substantial to contribute, please, or you will be banned from the boards.
