He-he. It took me quite a bit of Googling to figure out what you were talking about, but I'm afraid the answer is no (though now I want to read something by James Lee Burke so... thanks!). Strangely enough though my handle is a reference to fictional character. But the story that he's in is unpublished, very amaturish and written by yours truly when I was seventeen.

I've had to restrain myself from making a similar post because (A) everyone is frustrated about this and (B) everyone knows everyone else is frustrated about this.

But yes, it's really, really frustrating.

He-he, that's why the situation is just begging for joke posts.

So, what is the problem? Is it a lack of money to pay for enough bandwidth? Is it poor programing skills? What is the cause of this problem?

Of course, it is likely that some other forum is more appropriate for this topic, but as this thread already appears here, I thought I might as well redirect it toward a possibly productive end rather than leave it as a thread of complaints.

I'm willing to contribute money if I can get a special little graphic under my user name telling everybody how much better I am than them.

Elsewhere? Sheesh, I thought the Lounge was a forum where it was okay to joke around a bit.
