Direct evidence of that, please?

They had reported some big disasters, like the coming of the Hyksos and the Sea Peoples. So why should the Exodus be any different?

Let's see.

Gospelog2, were you a lifelong atheist who has read the writings of the likes of Bertrand Russell and Isaac Asimov and Carl Sagan? And whose father was a disgruntled Catholic and whose mother was also an atheist? And who barely escaped being baptized a Catholic as a baby?

Others here have their own deconversion/never-converted stories, and I'll let them speak for themselves.

Very well. Don't let the door slam into you on the way out.

Wow, page two and we've already derailed to preaching. Who saw that coming?

Back ON topic, you never answered the question in your first reply, Gospelog2. Could you please explain exactly how it takes faith to disbelieve? Actually, first you should probably define faith since whatever definition of faith you are talking about seems to require proof, which I thought was an oxymoron.

Being hostile to Christ, you will fall under one or more of these various categories. I have not added any new categories in awhile since I have not been able to find any others.
Troy,

You need to start answering some of the questions posed to you on this thread if you want people to respond to you decently and you are at all interested in some sort of dialogue. Honestly, you haven't given us much to work with.

Frankly, after reviewing your site, you worry me. From the way you write on your Web-site, I would say you're pretty young. You might want to take the time to study hard and educate yourself before tackling IIDB. You won't get far by preaching here, and the ridicule you will feel after awhile will only make you become more bitter.

David Koresh died for me. He did the U.S. a favor and died for everyone!

What? You can't find the many versus but there are many of them? Lots?

[QUOTE=Gospelog2The Bible is historical fact. Yes, there really was a flood. Yes, the sea really did split. Yes the firstborns did die in Exodus. So on and so forth.[/QUOTE]

Okay, for the sake of arguement, it's as you say historical fact. These facts don't prove Jesus is God

Now we see the truth in Gospelog2's Christian thought processes:

Believe in what I believe, or suffer for an infinite amount of time because of your finite misdemeanours.

Gospelog2, you'll probably not forgive me if I pass up on your wonderful threat. I want no part of it. Because to be quite frank, it smacks of being the product of nothing less than the mind of the worst kind of demented thug.

It remains a privilege to continue my friendships with those who do not espouse such depraved and reprehensible lunacy.

It never ceases to amaze me that people who really have nothing to offer other than empty assertions expect to make converts of intelligent, knowledgeable atheists. Of course, the religion that people like Gospelog2 belong to does not strongly emphasize critical thinking, for obvious reasons; but the tragic result is that many of its followers literally do not know how to construct a argument. And when we reject their unsupported claims, they announce that they have to leave soon before we poison their minds. Evidently the mere existence of people who will not fall to their knees en masse at the mention of John 3:16 so frightens these proselytizers that they have to escape, before the contagion of reason spreads to them too...

They were not miracles in the sence of their natural explanations, but in terms of their timing, they were most miraculous.
Tut, tut, Gospelog2, don't blaspheme Horus' people. He allowed all those magical miracles to happen because the Egyptians, were being defiled by Moses and his pal Satan.

Naw, you killed your brain cells with an overdose of self-indulgence, screwed-up your and the people around you lives, now you have an overdose of Jesus...
You were never like me, or will never be like me, Gospelog2, no matter what Satan tells you.
