Not revealing everything that you happen to know is not deceptive. Typically, most call it being smart, or wise. Information control is simply one technique that's part of good management. Men learned that from God. Not vice versa. Wars are won or lost with the right or wrong information.

No. How silly to even think I might have meant that.

Don't know if I can, as I haven't tried before. A "single verse" typically doesn't give much room to reveal the context and meaning of any particular prophecy or foreshadow of that which is yet to come. So, I suspect that answer to your question might very well be, no. It's probably going to take reading and perceiving the prophetic meaning of a fair number of verses.

So much for free will then if god is affecting the outcome of events.

Since when did either the volume or quality of the information that you have ever remove or prevent your ability to choose? Sure, it might have affected or influenced your choice. But, it didn't remove all choice from you, did it?

Try Acts chapter 2 or even Acts chapter 4

Actually the origins of the story in the book of Revelations are Hebrew, but because Christians believe (And I'm not going to go into arguments about whether Jesus is the messiah or not) Jesus to be the messiah, in the new testament it refers to the messiah in the story as Jesus Christ...So shouldn't you be asking were the Hebrews get this stuff.

But it's obvious were the Hebrew got these ideas, through their interprutation of the world around them and their belief system.

The same way Hawkins came up with the Big Bang theory, observation and interprutation, my boy!
