Actually the origins of the story in the book of Revelations are Hebrew, but because Christians believe (And I'm not going to go into arguments about whether Jesus is the messiah or not) Jesus to be the messiah, in the new testament it refers to the messiah in the story as Jesus Christ...So shouldn't you be asking were the Hebrews get this stuff.
But it's obvious were the Hebrew got these ideas, through their interprutation of the world around them and their belief system. The same way Hawkins came up with the Big Bang theory, observation and interprutation, my boy! The Great Speaker has once again spoken! |
