Christianity as a religion was the antichrist. They are identified in Jn.6:66 and are those who walked away from Jn.6:55. Protestants today use them to claim apostolic tradition.

Note that the -ity ending of Christianity denotes a condition of being which Jesus himself did not obtain until after resurrection. It is therefore that Jesus was never addressed as Christ in any of the four gospels . . . not even by Peter who recognized him as the messiah while nobody else did (Matt. 16:16). It is upon this keen insigth that Peter became rock in the church that Jesus had promised to built.

What a shame. In trying to find evidence to support the Christian Assertion that God sacrificed himself to himself, thereby conquering Death by dying, in order to put an end to his own Eternal Law, McDonald got off to a great start here with his irreconcilably inconsistent argument. Alas, once the discussion went Greek McDonald went downhill. So McDonald's real problem appears to be that the Bible he wishes to defend was written in Greek. I suggest that McDonald may be better able to οπεκριναμην to charges against error in a Bible if he switches to a Bible that was Originally written in English. Maybe Mormonism?
