How about: We are in this world but not of it.
In other words, man being essentially an eternal soul, is in this reality, or world, but for a short time. Our real home is with our Creator. |

It means that we as a species are still in the cradle - confined to the Earth - but will eventually outgrow it and move on - explore and populate other parts of the universe.
