I travelled to school in the 1950s on the 666 London bus ... in the 1960s it was changed to 266. London now has routes 664, 665, 667 - but no route 666.

People should be warned when they travel on the 266 ... The true number of this bus is SIX SIX SIX!

My parents told me during the war, when I was a baby, they were on a 666 bus when they got caught in an air-raid. The driver put his foot down and drove everybody to safety ... bombs exploding left and right of them.

Old US 666 has been changed. Pity for us tourists and the money we would ahve brought in had they played up the "Devils Highway".

Totally by chance, my safe deposit box number is 666. I had a big laugh about that.
